As a member in GBT, you will receive regular updates on the latest legislative activity in the state. These updates – provided to members via e-mail – ensure that you are kept informed on the latest transportation news that will directly affect you and your organization. Our website provides links to track current legislative activity on all House and Senate transportation bills. Also, you will receive updates from the State Transportation Board meetings and special call meetings.

GBT brings together transportation advocates at quarterly events. These events allow you to hear from lawmakers and share your views with them in addition to providing opportunities to meet with your colleagues. The quarterly informational meeting will give you more in-depth information on trends and developments in transportation.

GBT provides links to a variety of transportation funding and policy issues, involving all modes of transportation and affecting transportation systems. These reports provide coverage of transportation policy issues, including funding mechanisms and historical financial trends. The GBT website provides links to the latest studies from the Georgia Department of Transportation, the State Road and Tollway Authority, Georgia Regional Transportation Authority and the Atlanta Regional Commission to keep you informed.
